BIO
Folake Akanbi, MBBS, FMCP, FWACP, is an Endocrinologist of Diabetes and Metabolism at MSU Health Care Medicine Specialty Center | Endocrinology. Dr. Akanbi received her medical degree from University of Ibadan in Nigeria. She completed internal medicine residencies at Jos University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria and at McLaren Flint. Dr. Akanbi went on to complete an endocrinology fellowship. She has received several honors and awards, such as the Diabetes Dialog honor from the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes at the University of Colorado.
