BIO
Dr. Gina Chacon Osorio received her medical degree from Santa Maria Catholic University Medical School in Peru. She completed her residency training at the University of Florida Jacksonville. She started her academic career at MSU as Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine in the Department of Medicine. She completed a fellowship in Primary Care Faculty Development. She was a Consultant of Internal Medicine and Assistant Professor of Medicine of Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Wisconsin. She completed the Postdoctoral Certificate Program in Clinical and Translational Science during an Internal Medicine Clinical Research Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her academic interest is medical education and clinical research. Her clinical interests include Rheumatology diseases, Dermatology diseases, and Cystic Fibrosis disease.
