BIO
Dr Subhashis Mitra, Associate Professor, graduated from Medical College Kolkata, University of Kolkata, India and completed his MD from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, India. After finishing his Internal Medicine residency from Marshfield clinic, Wisconsin, he went on to complete his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases from Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. Dr Mitra joined the faculty at Michigan State University in 2012. He received the 2012 Pfizer Aspire Investigator award for Adult Vaccine research. His research involves studying vaccine response in end stage renal disease and other immuno-compromised patients.
