BIO

Aaron Nichols, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Prior to joining MSU Internal Medicine in 2021, he completed his residency training at Michigan State University – Sparrow Hospital. He obtained his medical degree from MSU College of Human Medicine.

Dr. Nichols's clinical work includes adult primary care in an outpatient clinic in addition to attending an inpatient resident teaching service at Sparrow Hospital. His focus is in health maintenance, preventative care, and managing general medical conditions. He is also involved in teaching early clinical experience and clinical preceptorship for students at MSU College of Human Medicine.

Dr. Nichols’s research interests include health disparities and diversity, equity, and inclusion in the field of Medicine. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing sports outside of medicine.
