BIO

I received my medical degree from Kathmandu University in 2008. Nepal. I started my residency training from Michigan State University and completed it at University of Colorado in Denver. Then I started my academic career at The George Washington University as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. After serving as an academic hospitalist for 5 years at GWUH, I joined The Division of General Internal Medicine at MSU in fall of 2020. I have also pursued further education on adult learning and leadership to enhance my teaching and leadership skills.

I have a great passion for teaching on the go and enjoy being with trainees from medical students to residents. I view myself as a clinician-educator and aspire to excel in this area.
From Academic year 2021-2022, I will be the fellow at the Learning Society for Shared Discovery Curriculum while serving as a Shepherd for MCE week 4, 5, 29 & 30. Starting same year, I will also be taking the role of Medicine Critical Care Clerkship Director. I also have been honored to be the faculty advisor for the Internal Medicine Interest Group.
