BIO
I earned my medical degree from Kathmandu University in Nepal in 2008. I began my Internal Medicine residency training at Michigan State University and completed it at the University of Colorado in Denver. Following residency, I launched my academic career as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The George Washington University, where I served as an academic hospitalist for five years.
In the fall of 2020, I joined the Division of General Internal Medicine at Michigan State University. To further strengthen my skills as a clinician-educator and leader, I pursued additional training in adult learning and leadership development.
I am passionate about bedside teaching and thrive in clinical learning environments alongside medical students and residents. Since the 2021 academic year, I have served as a Learning Society Fellow for the Shared Discovery Curriculum, as well as a Shepherd for the Middle Clinical Experience. I also serve as the Medicine Critical Care Clerkship Director for the Lansing campus. In addition, I am actively involved in graduate medical education as a Core Faculty member of the University of Michigan–Sparrow MSU Internal Medicine Residency Program (since 2024). I am a faculty advisor for the Internal Medicine Interest Group
