I received my medical degree from Rani Laxmi Bai Medical College in 2003, India. I completed residency in Chemical Pathology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2008. I did my residency training from Michigan State University, and then joined the department as Assistant Professor of Medicine in 2015. I have also been Leader for Adult ward Rotations for second year Medical students; I have developed the curriculum for the rotation and been teaching the students in the hospital as well.
I love to teach both students and residents. I received Resident’s award for “Excellence in in University Teaching of Internal Medicine” for 2020-2021 academic year. I was also nominated as Top Internist representing east Lansing this year. I will be serving as key faculty for the residents from year 2021.
I have published several case reports and posters in international, and regional conferences. I have been working on mental health effects of COVID-19 especially for admitted patients. I am working on submitting the manuscript in JAMA.
