BIO

Michael Weiner, DO, MSM, MSIST joined MSU HCI effective February 1, 2023 as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Weiner will be responsible for advancing excellence in clinical quality, increasing access to care, improving patient outcomes, improving physician and staff retention and wellness while reducing overall health care costs across the enterprise. He will have direct oversight for MSU Health Care clinical affairs including medical information systems, quality, risk, and credentialing. Dr. Weiner holds a masters in information systems technology from George Washington University, a masters in management from Troy University in Alabama, and received his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania.
