Kuipers Lab
The Kuipers laboratory is part of the Department of Medicine in the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University and is located in Grand Rapids, MI, on the 5th floor of the Doug Meijer Medical Innovation Building.
In the Kuipers Lab, we use human research methods to identifying epidemiologic and molecular factors that drive cardiac and vascular abnormalities and disease across the lifespan. Our research is conducted both locally and globally leveraging patient populations at the Corewell Health Fredrik Meijer Heart and Vascular Institute in Grand Rapids, and a community-dwelling cohort study in the Caribbean to add insight into the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease.
